Like for example our Best Buy hither in Aventura Florida (Miami) has 2 10-A3, and 3 lenses. The other brands have dozens of items in the steel cages correct on the floor. On display they evidence dozens of cameras, Fuji has no cameras on brandish to play with.

I think that the lack of Fuji stock where we tin can buy their products is non intentional.
I think that while the need for their products has obviously risen in the past few years (and much more recently in the past few months with the 10-T20 and major firmware updates to other X serial bodies), Fuji hasn't yet increased production of their products.
I retrieve they're waiting to see just how large the demand will get - they don't want to increase product just a flake to match the need; rather, when they do increase production, they'll want to do and then in a very significant manner so that they business relationship for hereafter demand increases.
They don't yet know how much demand will continue to grow, then are agape to either ramp up product by too little or likewise much.

I suppose technically speaking, if it'due south out of stock everywhere due to the fact that they become instantly bought, they aren't really "losing sales" - they're just non maximizing the number of sales they could brand.

im believe conspiracy side of things a lot, but there is very piddling negative about fujifilm out there, xc percent is made in nihon, quality across the lath, in this case i think its genuine demand as folks are educating themselves and evaluating that these systems are all-time for them, nosotros may not run into a lens sale for awhile

I will always be willing to wait. On such a large purchase where careful consideration has been fabricated on which camera to buy, I will never settle on the 2d choice because I don't has i. I will soon find out how stock situation is in Thailand on x100f when I return home next calendar week after ii months overseas work. If no stock I will just comport on using my xp1 until stock is forthcoming and I can wait for the whole year if I have to.

My gauge is that it's not an intentional short but cautious about projected demand. I recall the X-T20 is an awesome camera but judging from the number of YouTube videos out at that place, need is higher than projected. Information technology's only been out near a calendar month and then I don't think you can error Fujifilm for internet keeping upwardly nonetheless. I had to send mine dorsum just to be honest, I'm in no rush. I yet have my X-T10 and Nikon D90 which are still fine and enjoyable working cameras.

I don´t think the lack of stock is considering of whatsoever strategy. I think it is but the production capabilities of the company.
They put several products on the market place in the last months, x100f, xt20, GFx 50S, lenses and all of them are selling really well.
IMHO they are simply selling everything what they are producing and they are going stept past stept with the heighten of their production chain.
